The Practice works with a small group of key casual employees and colleagues to help with specific projects as required. This may range from draftspersons and building designers through to specialist consultants and architects.

Practice Director Andrew Watson is a Qld-Registered architect with over 25 years’ experience in commercial and residential architecture, town planning, conservation, and refurbishment of historic and existing buildings.
Andrew is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) and a member of the Qld AIA Climate Action & Sustainability Committee, helping support, advocate, and promote Sustainable Design.
He has specialist qualifications in architectural conservation (heritage) from the Institute of Advanced Architectural Studies, at the University of York. He has been a board member of The National Trust of Queensland and is a member of Australia ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites).
He has worked for large and small commercial architectural practices as well as for the Brisbane City Council as an architectural assessor, town planner and heritage architect.
Andrew established Watson Architects in 2007 to focus on three principal interests in architecture:
